Kayce Smith is a full-time mom and health coach turned children's author. She received her bachelor's degree in English from Millsaps College.

She currently resides outside New Orleans with her husband, their son, Hayes, and family dogs. While What Can Hayes Be? is naturally a passion project for her, Kayce also hopes it highlights the amazing work of Shriners Hospitals for Children, whom have been instrumental in the Smiths' journey. Pediatric prosthetics are continuously evolving, and your support matters!
